Credits are the currency of AFORS. Whether you receive them through your membership or buy them in bulk, they allow you to promote your equipment effectively.

Your membership tier determines what complimentary or paid credits you receive each month, and what types of adverts you can use them on.
Pay As You Go Private
For individuals buying or selling personal aircraft, equipment and parts.
- Cost: Free
- Monthly Credits: 3 complimentary credits
- Credit scope: Complimentary credits are valid for equipment and wanted adverts only. Aircraft, aviation property, hangarage, and training adverts require a paid credit. Credits reset monthly and are non-accumulative.
- Top-up: Paid credits available from £10 each
AFORS Supporter Private
For regular private advertisers who want full flexibility and to support the community.
- Cost: £3/mo — billed at £18 every 6 months
- Monthly Credits: 3 paid credits
- Credit scope: Paid credits work on all advert types with no restrictions — including aircraft, aviation property, hangarage, and training. Credits reset monthly and are non-accumulative.
- Alerts: Instant early-bird alerts for new listings
- Discount: 10% off additional credit purchases
- Badge: Verified Supporter profile badge
Pay As You Go Commercial
For businesses, brokers and dealers listing commercially with no monthly commitment.
- Cost: Free
- Monthly Credits: None included
- Credit scope: All adverts require purchased paid credits. Complimentary credits do not apply to commercial accounts.
- Top-up: Paid credits available from £10 each
- Banners: Access to on-site banner ad creation tools
Monthly Professional Commercial
Maximum visibility for businesses requiring premium advertising and analytics.
- Cost: From £25/mo
- Monthly Credits: 5 paid credits (cumulative)
- Credit scope: Paid credits work on all advert types with no restrictions. Unlike other plans, unused credits carry over each month.
- Banners: Run and manage custom banner campaigns
- Analytics: Full advert and banner analytics
- Discount: 25% off additional credit purchases
Complimentary vs Paid Credits
Complimentary credits are included with private memberships. They are valid only for equipment adverts under £500 and for adverts in the wanted sections adverts.
Paid credits — whether purchased or included in a Supporter or Professional plan — work on all advert types with no restrictions.
Where both credit types are available, complimentary credits are always spent first.
Please note: To ensure a fair marketplace and prevent commercial abuse, commercial advertisers do not receive complimentary monthly credits. Commercial users wishing to access credit-based features may upgrade to a paid membership tier, which will allocate monthly paid credits, or simply purchase top-up credits as required.

Discounts are applied on a sliding scale — the more you buy at once, the better the rate.

The type of credit required depends on what you are advertising and how much it is listed for.

Where complimentary credits are accepted, they are always used first before paid credits are deducted.

Equipment sections include: Engines & Propellers, Aircraft Parts, Instruments & Avionics, Radios & Communications, Tools & Workshop Equipment, Transport & Trailers, Miscellaneous and Aviation Clothing.
