Description

1/14 share available in G-ZOFG, an extremely well equipped PA-28-181 Archer II, hangared at Cumbernauld Airport (EGPG), maintained by Leading Edge at Cumbernauld and flies beautifully.

The group has 14 members but availability is exceptional with the aircraft typically flying for between 100 and 150 hours per year.

We are a very friendly group who often fly together, which is fantastic for newer pilots, or those who haven't ventured very far outside the local area. Recent trips by group members, include Limoges, Le Touquet, Sandown, Duxford, Blackpool, Leeds East, Glenforsa, Oban, Plockton, and many more.

The group is committed to ensuring the aircraft benefits from the latest technology, FG has had avionics upgraded and includes 2 x Garmin G5 coupled to a Garmin GTN650xi providing IFR capability - there are multiple members of the group with IR(R) ratings who use the aircraft for light IFR, and to stay current with instrument procedures.

This is a low-time aircraft, especially for a PA28. The airframe has 8,273 hours on it, and the engine was zero timed in 2020 by Norvic, with approx 650 hours on it now. ARC and annual completed 25 April 2026, ARC valid until 24 April 2027. All ADs and service bulletins up to date as at the annual, April 2026.

Share price: £8,500 ONO (negotiable with the seller)
Monthly: £125
Per hour wet: £130

Unlike other groups, no minimum hours requirement and low hours PPLs are very welcome - your attitude towards safe flying within your ability is more important than the experience stated in your logbook. If you have no recent experience in a PA28, then the group has access to instructors familiar with the aircraft who will be able to help.
